No clear cut theme today, except for Christmas I guess…  Not even sure what to say about all I’ve been thinking about.  I’m sure something will stumble out…

I find it strange that we get so stressed out at this time of the year, the cause of which is a holiday which is supposed to be fun and joyful, where we wish peace on earth and good will toward Man.  Is that what this thing we’ve been doing is?  Peace and Good-will?

We really have let ourselves be led around by the leash, most of us not even realizing there’s a collar on us.  But we’ll get more into the domestication of man after new years.

Let’s make today actually be about peace on earth.  What would that entail?

For starters, we would probably have to stop killing things… you know — people, animals, the Earth.

Do we really desire to kill those terrorists?  Or is it just what we’ve been led to believe… That we should be murderously upset over the death of our people, but not at the death of the rest of the world’s?  Why aren’t we that upset over the millions of Americans that die every day because they’re fat, or because of lung cancer from smoking a pack a day, or from diabetes?  All these things can be fixed with a healthy lifestyle, but people won’t do it, they are effectively killing themselves, and we aren’t sending troops to Mcdonald’s or the White House, are we?

What about the animals?  Have you ever brought the hatchet or the knife down and killed your own food?  Coward.  Truth is, you don’t even know if what you’re eating is real meat or something that was cloned in a vat of chemicals, do you?  If someone dropped off a lifetime’s supply of cows to you and said, ‘here you go, you can’t eat free for the rest of your life, you just have to slaughter them by yourself.’  How long do you think you would go on eating meat?  No one wants to think about killing their food, ‘that’s morbid’, they say.  But we’re all to willing to let someone else do our dirty work.  (just like the government, with our troops and our ‘wars’ on terror, and drugs, and whatever else)

And then what about this grand old space ship we live on called Earth?  Do we stop and question where the things we have come from, or how they got to us?  Rarely…  The amount of plastics that we use daily is ridiculous, and it doesn’t biodegrade either, and we store our food and water in it, which leeches particles of the plastic out into the food and then into our bodies where our bodies treat it like estrogen, and we wonder why couples can’t conceive and why cancer is so rampant in the last 50 years.  And to be sure, it’s only one of the causes, but think about how much plastic is around you right now…

You know what, I don’t find it that strange that we get so stressed out.  After thinking about why we’re so stressed, I’m a little stressed myself…  So what can we do to bring peace on earth and good will toward men?

I want you to answer this as you would if you were a little kid…  In fact, even better than that, is go ask a child what we should do, and post it down below.

Think about it…
